About Us

Kimble Funeral Home has been serving Princeton and its surrounding communities for over 80 years. The funeral home was founded in 1926 by Ralph E. Kimble and was originally located on Jefferson Street. In 1931, the funeral home was moved to its present location at One Hamilton Avenue. Mr. Kimble had two sons. The oldest was Edwin L., a 1932 graduate of Princeton University, and Ralph Birchall "Bert" Kimble. Both Edwin and "Bert" operated the funeral home for many years after the passing of their father. Claude M. Crater started his career there in 1965. After Bert's retirement in 1979, Claude became manager and eventually owner. In May of 2008, the firm was purchased by Ronald M. and Judith C. Jasinski. Since its inception, the funeral home has prided itself on being a family-owned and operated business. Since the Jasinskis have taken over the funeral home's operation, their time has been spent improving upon its day-to-day operations. They have brought to the business a new vision that incorporates many of the newest offerings in funeral service and an understanding of grief to allow families to create a tribute to their loved one in a more empathetic and relaxed atmosphere.
