Obituary

We are sad to announce the passing of Robert Louis Paulino of Hamilton. He passed at age 91 on 3/4/23. Robert passed away surrounded by their loved ones after a battle with alzheimers.

Mr. Paulino is survived by a wife, Helen Elizabeth Atoeff Paulino and his son: Mark Paulino. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, John Robert Paulino, Joseph Louis Paulino, Sarah Elizabeth Paulino, Skyler Escalante Paulino, and Liam Escalante Paulino. He also leaves behind three great grand children: Issac, Dean, and Angelo.
Robert is a veteran of the Navy from 1950 to 1957. He was a petty officer during his time in the service.
He grew up in Princeton, the son of Louis Paulino and Margaret Paulino. After his time in the service, he got married, had his first born, Robert N Paulino, and went back to school to get a degree in teaching. He began teaching and eventually became a principle at Millstone elementary for 37 years. He had two other children, Mark Paulino and William Paulino. After retiring, he began substituting in the Hamilton area for 20 more years. His attention to detail was legendary. He took pride in the fact that he always left his students with a great amount of knowledge. Robert retired from the substituting five years ago to pursue his other passion, spending time with family, gardening, taking long walks, and staying close to the beach.
The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
