Robert Monroe Calhoun passed away at home at the age of 72 on the morning of February 10th, 2014, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, Bob was a lifelong resident of Rocky Hill, New Jersey.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Diane; his son Keith and his wife Kitty, and his daughter Lisa and her husband Vince Cuomo; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Clifford, John, Dorsey, Steve, Earl, Carl, and Danny; his brother-in-law Robert Wright, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. He is preceded by his parents Pearl and John Calhoun; his sisters Anne, Darlene, and Linda; and brothers Ralph and Donald.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his horse Rusty, fishing, collecting antique toy cars and trucks, and auto racing. His love of automobiles led him to a successful career as a master mechanic and a hobby of building and racing stock cars. For the past ten years, Bob worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Spring Point Senior Living center. He was a past member of the Rocky Hill Fire Department.

The family would like to express how thankful we are for all the acts of kindness and to all those who provided care. We are very grateful for the love, support, and friendship that we share. We hope that you will join us in a Celebration of Life at a future date.
