Qunqing Chen, 81, of New Brunswick, NJ, passed away on Oct. 25th, 2024, surrounded by loving family.

Qunqing Chen was born on Dec. 10th, 1942 to Father, Yushun Chen, and Mother, Xiuying Wang, in Nanjing, China.

After graduating with a degree in chemistry from Nanjing university in 1966, he worked on a number of jobs until retirement in 2002. He won many awards throughout his career, including the National Medal for Outstanding Workers in 1984.

Qunqing was predeceased by both parents. He is survived by wife, Yunfang Gu; son, Jian Chen, and his wife, Han Wang; daughter, Li Chen, and her husband, Jun Qiu; son, Min Chen, and his wife, Min Hu; grandchildren, Leia Qiu, Lawrence Chen, Zhongtao Chen, Chen Chen, and Ronald Qiu.
