Pietro Dalle Nogare passed away peacefully into God's eternal care at home with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, July 11, 2010.

Pietro was born on October 12, 1928 to Domenico and Lucia Dalle Nogare in the Alpine region of Northern Italy.

He came to the United States in 1948 and settled in Princeton where he met and married his devoted wife of 58 years, Katherine Bernadette Boyd.

The couple established their home and raised two sons, Dominic and Peter, both of Princeton.

He had a lifelong enthusiasm for gardening which led to an exceptionally long career in grounds keeping. He was employed by RCA/David Sarnoff Research Center for 52 years until retirement, during which time he built lasting friendships and accumulated cherished memories. Pietro especially enjoyed his many return trips to his hometown in Italy where he would travel the country, hike mountain trails and enjoy the company of his many friends and relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 with Msgr. Walter Nolan, Pastor officiating followed by burial in the church cemetery.
