Patricia A. Purvis (Arik), 76, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 21, 2022, surrounded by family in Hillsborough NJ.  She was born in Manville NJ to Julius and Julia Arik.

Pat and her husband, Joe, enjoyed traveling with their RV and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  They managed to visit all of the United States before settling in Ocala, FL where she has lived for the last 15 years.  She recently moved back to NJ and All American Assisted Living to be near her family.  It was here where she enjoyed her favorite activities of playing cards, Italian dice and most recently candy bingo.   She was also an avid watercolor painter and enjoyed doing crafts.

She is predeceased by her parents, loving husband Joe D. Purvis, sister Marianne Samec (Arik), brothers Julius (Steve), David and John Arik.   She is survived by her two children; Rebecca Dinsmore (Petras) and Ronald Petras and wife Dana, two sisters; Judith Arik-McGrail and Susan Yarusinsky (Arik), four grandchildren; Jessica and Amanda Dinsmore and Quinn and Payton Petras and two step sons; Jim and Steve Purvis.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
