It is with deep sadness that I, Linda LaBruto, announce the passing of my aunt, Patricia John, 95, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Princeton, NJ, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare in Toms River, NJ.

Patricia was born in New York City and lived in South Plainfield, NJ before moving to Toms River four years ago.  Prior to her retirement, she was a seamstress by trade for many years.

She served as  Eucharistic Minister, lector and member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Paul Church, Princeton and distributed communion at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, NJ.  Patricia was a former parishioner of St. James Catholic Church in Pennington, NJ and a member of its Altar Rosary Society.  In addition, she was Past-President of the Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 76, Princeton and an active member and volunteer at AARP for many years.

Predeceased by her husband, Herbert John in 1996 and her parents, Bernard and Marie (Geiger) Hannock she is survived by her niece, Linda (Santo) LaBruto, of Toms River, cousins Carol and Carl Inglese of Hamilton Township, NJ and several other dear cousins.

Services will begin at Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, 08542 on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:30AM followed by an 11AM funeral mass at St. Paul Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton NJ.  Burial will be beside her husband in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ.

Visiting will be on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home.
