Obituary

Motès, the first child of Sainsoit Joltéus and Clervilia Julcéus, lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the people he loved. Raised in Kafoupéy, he completed his primary education at the National School of Kafoupéy before beginning his professional journey. Over the years, he worked for the National Lottery and became a respected farmer, tending the land with great pride. Through these efforts, he supported and educated not only his seven children but also many other members of his extended family and community.

Timo, as he was also known, was deeply involved in the civic life of his hometown. A committed political activist, he participated in local elections as a candidate for the position of Kazèk (administrative council member) in the first section of the commune of Tirivière, Artibonite. His passion for improving the lives of others was evident in everything he did, and his leadership earned him the respect and affection of those around him.

To his family, friends, and neighbors, Timo was a man beloved without exception. He had a strong, spirited temperament paired with a natural kindness that drew people to him. Whether someone was facing a personal hardship or a simple everyday challenge, he was always the first to lend support, extend a hand, or offer words of guidance. His presence brought assurance and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In his personal life, Timo shared many years with his devoted wife, Diana Pierre-Louis, whose love and companionship were a constant source of strength and comfort. Their partnership was grounded in loyalty, mutual respect, and deep affection.

Timo was a man who loved life wholeheartedly. He had a gift for bringing laughter into any room he entered, always ready with a joke or a story to brighten someone's day. His spirit was vibrant and uplifting, and he carried an energy that made others feel alive and connected.

Timo is survived by his wife, Diana Pierre-Louis; his mother, Clervilia Julcéus; his children, Frisner, Nesly, Maudeline, Edline, Notrice, Fene, and Sandy Jolteus; his siblings, Ernase Dezinord and Roosevelt Jolteus; and his ten grandchildren.

On the 11th of November, 2025, Timo's earthly journey came to an unexpected end. Though his passing brings deep sorrow, his family and friends take comfort in knowing that his love, wisdom, and unforgettable presence will forever remain in their hearts. Timo is not gone—he simply lives on in another way. His memory will continue to guide and inspire all who had the blessing of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Timo. Your mission is fulfilled, and your legacy endures
