Marie Novosedlik Dursin passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2024 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell, NJ after a long illness. She spent her last days surrounded by friends and family.

Marie was born in Newark, NJ on January 18, 1950 to Hermine and Stephen Novosedlik. She attended Our Lady of Good Council High School before receiving her BA in English from Kean University.

After graduation, she worked as a systems engineer for companies including Arthur D. Little and Opinion Research Corporation before transitioning into corporate finance.

Marie was known in life as a rabble-rouser and an animal lover, with a witty and wry sense of humor, strong opinions about full-fat dairy products, and a deep devotion to her friends and family.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Henry, and her brother, Stephen. She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie, her son-in-law, Nicholas, her nieces, Emily and Hillary, countless friends whom she considered family, and Jaime, her beloved and neurotic African Grey parrot.

A visitation will be held at Kimble Funeral Home 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, NJ on Thursday, May 2, from 4-8 PM. The funeral mass will be held at St. David the King RC Church, 1 New Village Rd, Princeton Junction, NJ on Friday, May 3 at 11 AM.  Burial will be at Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket, RI on Monday, May 6, at 1 PM.
