Maria A Rossi

Hamilton – Maria A Rossi, 70, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 21st, in the comfort of her home.

Born and raised in Trenton, Maria eventually moved to Hamilton.

She worked at Mercer County Board of Social Services until she retired in 2021.

Maria loved nothing more than spending time with her daughter and especially her grandson. You could always find them at the lake. She loved to cultivate her grandson's passion for fishing just as much as he did. She also loved the beach and her annual trips to Wildwood.

Maria was the youngest of 4 siblings and looked up to them dearly. She was lovingly thought of as the "baby" of the family. Maria was just as kind and compassionate as she was entertaining and hilarious. She had her own way with words and storytelling. Her sense of humor was constant and uplifted those around her over the years.  She valiantly beat cancer twice, while remaining a support system for her family and closest friends.

Daughter of the late Hamlet and Raffaela Marra Maisto, she is survived by her daughter, Lauren Rossi and grandson, Ryan Noble, both of Mount Laurel, NJ; her brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Debbie Maisto of Yardley, PA; her sister Emilia King of Columbus, NJ; her brother and his partner, Thomas Maisto and Carol Mangual, of Columbus, NJ; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608 from 11:00AM until Noon with a Memorial Mass beginning at Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a GoFundMe for her grandson's education. https://gofund.me/c26c703c   (Copy and paste into your browser)
