Linton B Alleyne, 79, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on June 9, 2022.
Mr. Alleyne was born in Hague, Guyana, on November 10, 1943. After graduating from the Institute of Road Transport Engineers in London, England, he was a Turbine Engineer for the Electricity Corporation in Georgetown, Guyana. He was employed as Superintendent at New Jersey Transit after immigrating to the United States in 1986 and retired as a Superintendent for the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority in 2016.

Linton loved staying in contact with his family and friends and attending church services on Sunday mornings. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed carpentry. His favorite musical artist was Ace Cannon. He enjoyed listening to country music and was a fan of the World Wrestling Entertainment and the Law and Order TV show.

Linton was widowed by his second wife, Carol Alleyne, and is survived by his first wife, Nesta Alleyne. He was preceded in death by seven children, fifteen grandchildren, and siblings Pamela Borrow, Aston, and Gordon Alleyne.
