Kathleen Diehl Fluss of Princeton, NJ, died peacefully on April 22, 2022 surrounded by family at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA, after a short illness.

The daughter of William E. Diehl and Margaret R. Diehl, she was born in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in Lansdale, PA.

Pre-deceased by her parents and her sister, Anne Diehl, she was the devoted wife of Robert D. Fluss, the loving mother of Kate Fluss Ashley (David) of Santa Fe, NM, and Paul R. Fluss (Kristen) of Franklin, TN, as well as the doting grandmother of Aubrey Claire Fluss and Hazelle Mae Fluss.  She is also survived by seven siblings: Peggy Diehl, Jean Cubbage, William Diehl, Patricia Diehl, Susan Brady, Mary Jo Hughes, and Mary-Beth DePaolo.

Kathy graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School, Gwynedd University Junior College, and Rutgers University Douglass College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society.  She later enjoyed a career as a certified court reporter.

An extraordinary person of love, humor, compassion, and friendship, she lived a full life raising her children, volunteering and participating in many causes and groups, and delighting everyone who knew her.  She always made a lasting contribution to whatever she was involved in, whether it was organizing yearly fundraising art shows while living in Japan, decorating the Governor's residence for Christmas with the Dogwood Garden Club, her volunteer activities at St. Paul's church, and as an active member of the Present Day Club.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Parish, 214 Nassau St., Princeton, NJ 08542 on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00am. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and Thursday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am at Kimble Funeral Home, One Hamilton Ave., Princeton, NJ 08542.
