In Loving Memory of Katherine M. Woody

It is with great sadness that we announce her passing on March 11th, 2025.

Katie was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, cherished friend, and universal benefactor to animals, touching countless lives with warmth, generosity, and kindness. Throughout her life she showered unwavering love and support on her family and friends, and showed an interest and openness to all. She was a great embodiment of the phrase: "There are no strangers, only friends we haven't met." She possessed a quick, pointed wit and an endless sense of humor. She delighted in a good laugh.
Her laughter, strength, and belief in goodwill, imprinted on her family, live on in all of us. Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, love - and a sense of great fun. [or not]

While we mourn our loss, we also celebrate the amazing life she lived - her adventures, her wide-ranging travel, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the joy she brought to the lives of those who knew her well, and many who perhaps only knew her briefly.
