John Gerald Cifelli, 81, passed away on November 21, 2024, peacefully at home.

Born and raised in Princeton, John became a successful business owner and his legacy lives on through John Cifelli Electrical Contracting.

He enjoyed golfing with "The Club 20" at Peddie Golf Club and continued his stellar golf in his later years with his son and grandson.

In 2010 he moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to his children and grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Angeline (Pinelli) Cifelli; his beautiful wife, Sophie; and his brother David Cifelli.

Surviving are his children, Nicholas Cifelli and Kristin Hetzel; his brothers, Robert Cifelli and Anthony Cifelli; his sisters-in-law, Patti Cifelli, Shirley Cifelli, and Diane Quigley; his brother-in-law, Peter Quigley; and his many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Lindsay Hetzel, Michael Hetzel, and Nicole Hetzel, with whom he shared very special bonds.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10:00AM in St. Paul Parish, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ with burial to follow at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ.
