Frances Lopenzina, 90, of Lambertville, NJ, passed away August 15, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 28, 1926 to the late Leonardo Raguseo and Laura (DiGiorgio) Raguseo.

She graduated from James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1944. She married the late Frank Lopenzina in 1950 and they lived together happily for 54 years. After living in the same home in Brooklyn, NY for 60 years, she relocated to Monroe Township, NJ to be closer to her granddaughters.

Frances worked for over 34 years as an executive assistant for the Celanese Corporation in Manhattan. She excelled while balancing life as a career woman, wife, and mother, all without complaint. Her favorite times were spent caring for her granddaughters, especially summers by the pool and taking them to see latest movies. She enjoyed cooking, socializing with friends during her morning walks in the neighborhood, evening card games, and traveling to casinos on vacations.

Frances is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Lopenzina; brother John Raguseo and sisters Rose Vafier and Mary Tumolo.

Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Leonard and Christina Lopenzina of Lambertville, NJ; granddaughters; Vanessa Lopenzina of Ewing, NJ and Valerie Lopenzina and her fiancé Christopher Damiano-Lane of Roebling, NJ; step-daughter Carole Hose and husband Wayne of Norton, OH and step-son Peter Lopenzina and wife Linda of Murfreesboro, TN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday August 18, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. at Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue Princeton, NJ 08542 (609-924-0018).

Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday August 19, 2016 at 10:15AM followed by a 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Catholic Church, 214 Nassau Street Princeton, NJ 08542. Guests may gather at the funeral home beginning 9:30 a.m.

Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 840 Cranbury South River Road East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
