Filomena Ida Perna's Obituary
F. Ida Perna, 98, of Princeton, NJ, passed away suddenly at her residence on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
Born in Pettoranello del Molise, Italy, to Erminio and Concetta Nini, Ida came to the United States in 1950 settling in Princeton.
She was a homemaker and communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church in Princeton.
Ida was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco Perna (2007), her daughter Rosina Sferra (2011) and her parents. She is survived by her son, Anthony J. Perna, with whom she lived, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin 10:30AM, Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton, followed by an 11:00AM funeral mass St. Paul Catholic Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Princeton Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 3-6PM at the funeral home.
