Elizabeth Niper, 98, of  Ewing, NJ, formerly of Princeton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Born in Suffern, NY she was raised in Princeton, NJ having attended local elementary schools and graduating from Princeton High School.

Although most of her life Elizabeth was a homemaker she did work in various establishments in the Princeton area including E.T.S.  Over the years she was also a caregiver to several family members who resided in the area.

Mrs. Niper was a long-time volunteer at the Franklin Convalescent Home in Franklin Park, NJ.  She enjoyed reading, keeping house, raising her children and being active in her grandchildren's lives as they grew up.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth Niper in 1996, her parents Thomas and Anna (Covert) Geherty, brothers George and Charles Geherty, son-in-law, Arthur Smith, and granddaughter-in-law, Marcelle Seals

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Niper, Jr. and Patricia of Ewing, NJ, two daughters, Frances Niper of Croydon, PA and Elaine and Albert Mattera of Burlington, NJ, eight grandchildren; Wayne Seals, Robert Seals and wife Fawn, Debbie Anderson, Lisa Barone and husband John, Amy Butler and husband Steve, Tina Black and husband Kevin, Jennifer Niper and Kenneth James Niper and partner Rebecca Schumm, 13 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Thomas Geherty, of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, NJ on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Noon.  Elizabeth will be laid to rest beside her husband in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ following the service.

Visiting hours are Thursday, preceding the service, from 10AM to Noon.
