Edith D. Hollandsworth, age 98, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Lawrence Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born on May 6, 1927 in York, Pennsylvania to Pietro and Mary Rizzuto Butera. Edith worked in the fashion industry for many years where she started as a model and ultimately became a clothing buyer. She loved gardening, painting, reading and word puzzles. But most of all she loved spending time with her cherished family.

She was graceful, kind and strong and was always there to lend a helping hand to family or friends.

Edith is survived by her two daughters Stephanie and her husband Christopher Waaben and Tracy and her husband Matthew Mosher. As well as, five grandchildren Kyle and his wife Kelly, Tyler, Keith, John, Olivia and one great grandson KJ. Edith is also survived by a brother Liborio Butera and was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Quickel and a brother Andrew Butera.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00PM with visitation from 11:30AM to 1:00PM at Kimble Funeral Home, One Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, New Jersey 08542

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St Jude Children's Hospital.
