Carl A. Robbins, Jr., 68, of Rocky Hill, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Born in Princeton in 1943, he had spent most of his life in Rocky Hill.

A graduate of Ashland College in Ohio, he received his Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from Rider University.

Carl has always worked for the State of New Jersey. The last position he held was the Assistant to the President at New Jersey City University before he retired several years ago. Since retiring, Carl enjoyed traveling. He had visited Europe several times as well as many places within the United States.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Carl A. Robbins, Sr. and Ruth of Rocky Hill, his mother Hazel Koeferl and sister Jill Robbins, both of Jacksonville, FL, his nephew Chris Robbins and his wife Kim of Lawrenceville, NJ and two great-nephews Sean and Dylan Robbins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10am in the Kimble Funeral Home, One Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, NJ, followed by burial in the family plot at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill.

Visiting hours, at the funeral home, are Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm
