Barbara Ann Koch, 59, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at her residence after an extended battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Princeton, NJ she was a graduate of both Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

At the time of her death, Barbara had been employed as a nurse for many years at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City.

Barbara was predeceased by her father, John J. Koch, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Golden, paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Koch and her stepfather, Joseph Marant.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara G. Marant and sister Denise Tock both of Ewing, NJ, two step-sisters Mary Rathbun and Karen Marant, both of Colorado, two step-brothers Frank J. Marant and his wife, Betsy of GA and Joseph Marant and his wife, Beverly of PA, a nephew Jason Tock of Philadelphia, PA, one step-niece Ellyn Marant of PA, two step-nephews Daniel Marant of PA and John Logan of GA, two aunts Carol T. Golden of Princeton, NJ and Betty Lou Koch of Hightstown, NJ, an uncle, Ralph Koch and his wife Florence, of PA and many cousins.

After a private cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 9:30AM in St. Paul's RC Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in St. Paul's Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of the donor's choice or mass cards offered in her memory.
