Andrew J. May, 65, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson at Somerset. Born and raised in Manville, he was a life-long resident.

Andrew was a forklift mechanic for 35 years for Liftec in South Plainfield before retiring in 2017.

He was an avid mechanic who enjoyed working on and maintaining his own cars and caring for his yard He especially enjoyed playing video games and discussing cars with his grandson Dylan and dancing with his grand-daughter Maddie at school dances and in the living room. Andrew was a devoted son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his father, Albert May. Surviving are his loving mother, Dolores May, his loving children, Joann and Andrea May, his loving grandchildren, Dylan and Maddie, his caring siblings, Albert and wife Evelyn, Debi, Denise Kelco and husband Andy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
