Obituary

Alice Catherine Pollard passed away in Princeton, New Jersey on September 13, 2022. She is survived by her family, her friends, and all of us who loved the joy and light she brought into this world: her wife Emily and her partner Maggie; her mother Noy and her father Chris; her brother Nick; her MawMaw; her dearest loved ones and friends: Renee, Sy, Sophie, Arianna, and so many others; and her two cats, Orin and Salty.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in Alice's memory to honor her deeply meaningful impact on this world. These organizations serve Alice's favorite causes, and through them her values still live with us all:

ARK OF SAFETY: Philly's first Trans-focused LGBTQ+ safe haven, newly opening a 12-bed shelter in North Philadelphia this month. Ark of Safety will be offering a trauma-informed LGBTQ+ affirming space with peer sup- port services, with four beds dedicated specifically to trans people, providing housing plus supportive services to establish stability and safety.
